ELON Musk has lashed out at Ukraine’s Volodymyr Zelensky by claiming he is running a “graft machine” fed by dead soldiers.

Musk and his close ally Donald Trump have been been waging a war of words with their Ukrainian counterparts in recent days as they look to navigate a peace deal with Russia.

The Tesla boss took to X to attack Ukraine’s brave president and challenged him to hold a presidential election to prove his popularity.

Musk said: “If Zelensky was actually loved by the people of Ukraine, he would hold an election.

“He knows he would lose in a landslide.”

It comes after Vladimir Putin has spent the last few weeks blasting Zelesnky as an illegitimate president.

The comedian turned politician was voted into office in 2019 with his official term ending in 2024.

Due to Vlad’s illegal invasion, however, Ukraine has been unable to hold elections due to martial law being in place.

Putin, Musk and even Trump have all jumped at the chance to question Zelensky’s reign in recent days.

President Trump himself even openly admitted to being “very frustrated” with Zelensky – saying he had a “personal” problem with him.

The scathing comments come just days after US and Russian officials met in Saudi Arabia to begin crucial peace talks – notably leaving out Ukraine.

Fears have grown ever since US president Donald Trump bypassed Ukraine and continental leaders to do business directly with the Kremlin.

Washington has largely dominated the talks so far with Trump holding a phone call with both Putin and Zelensky to hear their key requirements and bring about a resolution.

The Republican has urged both Kyiv and Moscow to achieve peace quickly but in doing so has raised fears over what a deal could mean for Ukraine in the future.
