President Trump endorsed two Republican candidates vying to be Arizona’s next governor.

In a post Monday on Truth Social, Trump said he likes both GOP candidates, businesswoman Karrin Taylor Robson and Rep. Andy Biggs (Ariz.).

“I like Karrin Taylor Robson of Arizona a lot, and when she asked me to Endorse her, with nobody else running, I Endorsed her, and was happy to do so,” Trump said online. “When Andy Biggs decided to run for Governor, quite unexpectedly, I had a problem.”

“Two fantastic candidates, two terrific people, two wonderful champions, and it is therefore my Great Honor TO GIVE MY COMPLETE AND TOTAL ENDORSEMENT TO BOTH. Either one will never let you down.”

Robson announced in February that she would be running in Arizona’s 2026 gubernatorial race. In her announcement, she showed a clip of Trump endorsing her at an event in Arizona in December before she officially announced her campaign.

It’s Robson’s second bid to lead Arizona. She previously ran in 2022, losing to Kari Lake in the Republican primary.

Lake then narrowly lost to Gov. Katie Hobbs (D) in the general election.

Biggs filed a statement of interest for the job in January and later officially announced his campaign.

The conservative Arizona lawmaker was elected to Congress in 2016 and is the chair of the House Freedom Caucus.

He recently announced the death of his daughter. Both Hobbs and Robson shared their condolences for his loss.

Biggs thanked Trump for his endorsement in a post on X.

“It’s been an honor to support you and fight for your agenda since 2016,” Biggs said. “I look forward to fighting along side you as Governor of Arizona, the greatest state in the nation!”

After Arizona switched from blue to red in the most recent presidential election, the results are giving the GOP hope that it could also flip the Governor’s Mansion.

Still, Hobbs is a generally well-liked governor, with a 46 percent approval rating, according to Noble Predictive Insights.
