In a fiery response, President Trump has taken aim at political commentator Megyn Kelly following her controversial comments on her SiriusXM show. Kelly stirred the pot by suggesting that the U.S. service members who lost their lives in the ongoing Iran conflict “did not die for the United States.”
Her remarks come as news emerges of six American troops lost in the joint US-Israeli Operation Epic Fury. This operation, which led to the elimination of Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei and various top regime officials, is viewed by the President as a crucial move to thwart the threat of a nuclear-armed Iran.
Kelly’s assertion that the fallen service members effectively perished for Israel rather than America has sparked outrage. Her words seemed to undermine the sacrifice of these troops, prompting a sharp rebuke from Trump, who emphasized the campaign’s importance in safeguarding national security.
Expressing her view, Kelly stated, “My own feeling is no one should have to die for a foreign country. I don’t think those four (updated to six) service members died for the United States. I think they died for Iran or for Israel.”

Whether or not you agree with the ongoing operation, saying troops died for Israel not only spits on their noble sacrifice on behalf of the United States, but it’s a shot at the President, suggesting he is being blindly led around by other world leaders.
In an interview with journalist Rachael Bade of The Inner Circle, Trump responded by suggesting she pick up a history book.
“Megan was opposed to me for years when I ran the first time, and nothing stopped me,” he said. “And so, you know, some people are against — and they always come back. She came all the way back. But now I guess she maybe doesn’t like the idea of this war, but I do because I have to keep nuclear weapons out of the hands of the Iranians.”
Trump suggested that the MAGA movement is behind him with this operation, not Kelly and former Fox News host Tucker Carlson, who also slammed the administration over the ongoing conflict with Iran.
Carlson, according to ABC’s Jonathan Karl, called Operation Epic Fury “absolutely disgusting and evil.”

“I have to do what’s right, number one — and you can’t have Iran getting a nuclear weapon. That’s predominant to me,” the President told Bade.
“I think that MAGA is Trump — MAGA’s not the other two,” Trump confidently shot back. “MAGA wants to see our country thrive and be safe. And MAGA loves what I’m doing — every aspect of it… This is a detour that we have to take in order to keep our country safe and keep other countries safe, frankly.”
Regarding Carlson, the President said he “can say whatever he wants; it has no impact on me.”
Trump on Monday sent an official notification to Congress justifying U.S. attacks against Iran.
“I directed this military action consistent with my responsibility to protect Americans and United States interests both at home and abroad and in furtherance of United States national security and foreign policy interests,” he explained.
“Despite my Administration’s repeated efforts to achieve a diplomatic solution to Iran’s malign behavior, the threat to the United States and its allies and partners became untenable.”
Editor’s Note: For decades, former presidents have been all talk and no action. Now, Donald Trump is eliminating the threat from Iran once and for all.
