MORE than a dozen supporters of Donald Trump reportedly fell ill after attending one of the tycoon’s rallies.
Fans reportedly experienced a range of symptoms including dizziness – with some saying they experienced burning eyes.
Thousands of people flocked to the event in Tucson, Arizona which was held on September 12 but some opted to go to the hospital.
Reports suggest around 20 people fell ill at the rally.
Mayra Rodriguez, an ardent Trump fan, said her eyes were burning.
She told the NBC affiliate KVOA she started to feel the sensation after just stepping outdoors.
Initially, Rodriguez thought she was just experiencing allergies but decided to go to the hospital.
She revealed doctors thought she had been sprayed with something because her symptoms seemed to match.
But, days later, she said that her eyes were still hurting.
“It hurts, it hurts a lot to open my eyes,” she said.
Rodriguez said she’s resorted to putting on and taking off a cold cloth.
She has since revealed her vision has started to improve.
But, Rodriguez is not the only person who went to the rally who has experienced symptoms after it.
Another woman claimed her neck was on fire, while her sibling said the pain he experienced was unbearable.
Trump’s team told the outlet they have been investigating the cases.
Former Arizona congressional candidate Kathleen Winn said she hoped “no nefarious actors” were at play.
At the rally, Trump promised to end all taxes on overtime as he unveiled another economic proposal.
The people who work overtime are among the hardest-working citizens in our country,” he told his supporters.
Trump has previously promised no tax on tips – a proposal that Kamala Harris is also backing.
The Republican claimed the vice president stole the policy.
“She has no ideas, she can only steal from me,” he fumed in a Truth Social post.
Trump has also promised to protect Social Security and has continued to blame Harris for the Biden-Harris record on inflation.
The Republican has also proposed tariffs on US imports and has proposed a slew of tax cuts in a bid to win over key sections of the electorate.
Polls in states such as Nevada suggest the Latino vote could be up for grabs in what could be a boost for Trump.
“I feel the Democrats take the Hispanic vote for granted here in Vegas or in Nevada,” Rafael Cerros Jr told CNN.
Cerros, a radio host, claimed he’s received callers who say they’re going to vote for Trump in November.
But an average of polls, compiled by Real Clear Politics, suggest the race is on a knife-edge.
If the election was held tomorrow, Harris would clinch the presidency with 276 electoral college votes.
