President Trump says it “would not bother” him to see former FBI Director James Comey and former CIA Director John Brennan handcuffed and arrested on live television.

In an interview with the Daily Caller’s Reagan Reese released Sunday, Trump said he thinks arrests should be made over the Obama-era investigation into Russia’s involvement in the 2016 election — even though he insisted he’s not involved in the probe.

“I don’t know if there’s going to be. There should be. What they did is a disgrace. They cheated, they lied, they did so many bad things, evil things that were so bad for the country,” Trump said when asked whether he thinks there will be arrests in what Reese described as the “Russiagate” probe.

Trump was also asked who he thinks will be arrested and how quickly, though he did not offer up any names himself.

“They committed all the crimes — there should be — I can’t tell you whether or not because I really I don’t have to stay uninvolved. I’m allowed to stay involved, but I purposely don’t get involved,” Trump said. “I can say that they should be arrested.”

“They should be [arrested] because they’re crooked and they got caught,” he added.

The reporter responded by asking specifically about Comey and Brennan.

“So James Comey and John Brennan, would you be comfortable seeing them handcuffed and arrested live on TV?” Reese asked.

“Would not bother me at all,” Trump responded.

CIA Director John Ratcliffe said last month he made referrals to the Justice Department for Brennan, Comey and former Director of National Intelligence (DNI) James Clapper, saying they could face charges relating to what he called a “hoax” about the election.

Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard released two sets of documents about the 2016 election, which revealed little new information about Russia’s much-studied efforts to influence the vote.

Trump allies have claimed the intelligence reviews were designed to cast doubt on his victory, but the latest document release did not undercut the central conclusion of the probe: that Russia launched a massive campaign with the hopes of influencing the election.
