President Donald Trump reacted to TDS sufferer Hillary Clinton’s offer to personally nominate him for a Nobel Peace prize if he manages to put an end to the Russia-Ukraine war, and it’s perfect.
Ahead of the historic Alaska Summit with Russian President Vladimir Putin on Friday, Trump sat down with Fox News’ Bret Baier to answer questions about their meeting and more.

During their discussion, Baier asked President Trump if he had heard what the former Democratic presidential nominee said recently–that if he managed to end the war and “not capitulate to Putin, that she would nominate [him] for the Nobel Peace Prize.”

“Well, uh that was very nice – I may have to start liking her again,” Trump replied, as Baier grinned.
As my RedState colleague Mike Miller reported, Clinton appeared on the “Raging Moderates” podcast, released on Friday, with Fox News’ co-host and Democrat political strategist Jessica Tarlov.
In Miller’s piece aptly titled “Flying Pigs Alert: Hillary Clinton Says the Unthinkable About Trump, Nobel Peace Prize,” Clinton said that if Trump could actually end the terrible war, she would nominate him for the Nobel Peace Prize:
Honestly, if he could bring about the end to this terrible war, if he could end it without putting Ukraine in a position where it had to concede its territory to the aggressor, could really stand up to Putin — something we haven’t seen, but maybe this is the opportunity — if President Trump were the architect of that, I’d nominate him for a Nobel Peace Prize.
The video clip surfaced on X before the two leaders met on the tarmac at Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson in Anchorage, Alaska.
The initial greeting definitely made headlines, not just because of its historic nature, but because Trump had a special greeting for Putin, complete with a B-2 bomber flyover, as RedState reported.
After their greeting, the two men walked down the red carpet when the bomber and the US. fighter jets flew overhead, causing Putin to appear somewhat startled and shocked by the military greeting.

An EPIC show of American dominance 🇺🇸🔥

It was clear Putin wasn’t expecting it. He stopped walking with Trump, looked up, turned his head one way, then turned his head the other way, as he looked up at the sky filled with the US military aircraft. Trump also stopped at one point but appeared to be unbothered, as he clapped his hands before he leaned over and said something to the foreign leader.
Fox News anchor Bret Baier was one of many people who reacted to the flyover and said it was hard not to point out the significance of the bomber flyover after bombers that were used in the massively successful strike on Iran’s nuclear capabilities with Operation Midnight Hammer in June.

And the incredible show of military force wasn’t the only thing that stood out from the meeting, as my RedState colleague Ward Clark reported.
He wrote about how the two men set off for their meeting, which lasted around three-and-a-half hours, before the two suddenly emerged just before 2:55 p.m. AKDT:
Each made a brief statement; they took no questions. There was no mention of a ceasefire. The various aides and staff who entered just ahead of the two presidents, including Secretary of State Rubio, seemed cheerful and upbeat.
Putin said the summit was “very successful,” while President Trump called the meeting “very productive.” Trump also reiterated that it was a very successful meeting in his brief comments and said, “Many points agreed to” with a “few that are left.”
At the time of publication, there has still been little to no information released about their meeting, a possible ceasefire, etc. Stay tuned to RedState for updates.
