MORE than 100 intelligence officers have been fired over allegedly sending explicit messages on government chatrooms.
Tulsi Gabbard, Trump’s director of national intelligence, has vowed to clean house and root out corruption within government.
The officers are accused of sending explicit messages on the National Security Agency’s “Intelink” platform.
And, the alleged messages were sexual in nature and discussed issues like gender transition surgery, as reported by The New York Times.
Appearing on Fox News last night, she slammed the officers for what she described as an “egregious violation of trust.”
“What to speak of, like basic rules and standards around professionalism,” she told Fox News star Jesse Watters.
Gabbard said the officers allegedly at fault were brazen when they used the platform.
She has promised to “clean house” and “root out corruption.”
Gabbard explained that this would help restore trust in government institutions.
And, it would mark the end to the so-called weaponization and politicization of government.
