Disturbing video revealed
KTNV has spoken to a student who showed a video of the police clearing the room she was in.
The video showed her having to lay on the ground with her hands up while the police cleared for safety and eventually escorted her and other students out.
“I just wanted to get out. I still want to get out. I’m just waiting on this shuttle. I want to go home,” she said.

The Nevada Assembly Republican Caucus has released a statement on X following the shooting at the University of Nevada.
The statement read: “The Assembly Republican Caucus would like to thank the brave first responders and law enforcement who came to the rescue in today’s tragic shooting on the campus of UNLV.”
“Additionally, the doctors and medical personnel working with the victims deserve our gratitude. Without their heroic actions and bravery things no doubt could have been worse.”
“As we await additional information in this unfolding situation, our thoughts and prayers go out to those affected and their families.”
Reunification center established
Clark County Fire Department has established a reunification center for families of victims, per UNLV.
