Report: Kash Patel 'Going Nowhere,' Too Busy Directing 'Major' Investigation Into Russiagate

Many pundits felt that the AG had overpromised but then under-delivered on possible new revelations in the investigation of the convicted pedophile. The Department of Justice announced Monday that there was no Epstein “client list” and that it was confirmed that he died by suicide in his Metropolitan Correctional Center (MCC) in Manhattan and was not murdered. It was a conclusion that left many observers dissatisfied, including, reportedly, Bongino.

A number of outlets reported that FBI Director Kash Patel also might leave the Bureau if Bongino left. On Friday night, Just the News founder, editor-in-chief, and veteran political reporter John Solomon shot that notion down.

Kash Patel is going nowhere unless the president tries to move Kash Patel. He’s there for the long haul.

On the Just the News website, they teased Solomon’s announcement by saying they had a “unique episode” to share:

Tonight’s show is a unique episode with live footage from Charlie Kirk’s Turning Point USA Student Action Summit 2025. In the middle of the show, host John Solomon breaks some big news about the most talked about story of the day, the Jeffrey Epstein story and how it is causing an uproar in MAGA world, as Dan Bongino has taken a break from his position as Deputy Director of the FBI.

Solomon went on to detail that Bongino is still mulling his options, but Patel is not going anywhere because he is too involved with a huge Russiagate investigation looking into matters over an entire decade.

Watch:

He says Kash Patel isn’t going anywhere and all rumors related to him are not true, but Dan Bongino is in fact taking a few days [to] consider if he wants to stay on the Job…
