A UNITED States-bound flight has been rerouted back to its departing location following a bomb threat.
A Copa Airlines flight with 144 passengers en route to Tampa, Florida, returned to Panama City’s Tocumen International Airport on Friday morning.

The Boeing 737-800 landed at Panamanian airport at around 11am and was moved to an isolated stretch of the tarmac, the court’s civil aviation authority said.
The passengers were evacuated from the aircraft as an anti-explosive team inspected the plane.
