Virginia had been charged with breaching the restraining order on March 14, that was 11 days before the was hit by a bus while driving on March 25.

It is due to next come up for a hearing on April 9.

Her husband Robert Giuffre had also been charged with inadequate storage for guns in February of this year as well as reckless driving exceeding the speed limit by 45km in September last year.

He had been fined $1,200 and lost his licence for six months for the reckless driving charge.

Virginia said the impact from the bus crash triggered kidney failure and that she only had four days left to live.

But cops cast serious doubt on the crash in Neergabby, north of Perth – confirming it was “minor” with no injuries reported.
