TWO people are dead, and one person is left in critical condition after a man shot at a Walmart and nearby home on Friday morning.

Police officers reported that one Walmart employee shot and killed another employee at 1:30 am.

The suspect then allegedly shot another employee standing outside of the store, leaving the employee in critical condition.

After shooting the two employees at the retailer, the suspect then allegedly went to a woman’s house two miles away, who was also another co-worker, and shot her.

Two of the victims have yet to be identified.

However, family members of the woman shot at home said her name was Akeela Clarke, 19.

“This was not an active shooter situation,” the Newton County sheriff’s office said in a statement.

“The suspect specifically targeted individuals they knew.”
