Watch: Unhinged Dem Rep Has to Be Pulled Away From Tom Emmer in Heated Exchange Over Minneapolis Shooting

On Wednesday, a heated altercation unfolded on the House floor regarding a woman’s tragic shooting in Minneapolis, necessitating intervention to separate a Democratic lawmaker from her Republican counterpart following a fervent outburst.

Representative Angie Craig of Minnesota, who is campaigning for a Senate seat with a focus on her identity as a lesbian mother, clashed with House Majority Whip Tom Emmer, also from Minnesota. The dispute reportedly centered on the incident where the woman allegedly disregarded law enforcement directives and used her car as a weapon.

The situation left little room for debate—according to reports and social media footage, the ICE agent was justified in his response. As noted by RedState Editor Bob Hoge, the woman “accelerated and struck an officer,” prompting the agent to fire, resulting in her death.

Despite the evidence, Craig appeared unmoved and confronted Emmer, who defended the ICE agent’s actions. This confrontation raises questions about Craig’s suitability for her current role in Congress and her potential future as a Senator.

It’s clear-cut.

Craig, though, seemingly didn’t care for the evidence or perhaps closed her eyes while viewing it, and confronted Emmer, who had offered a defense of ICE following the shooting. What happened next shows this woman doesn’t have the discipline or demeanor to serve as a representative in the halls of Congress, let alone as a Senator.

Woke Wars Heat Up in Democrat Senate Primaries, As the Party Continues Their Identity Politics Clown Show

This isn’t normal behavior. The wild gesticulations, the finger-pointing. Needing to be pulled away by someone, later identified as Democrat Rep. Betty McCollum (MN-4), because you’ve clearly crossed a line.

None of it is normal.

Multiple sources speaking to Axios on the heated exchange report that Craig “told Emmer — who defended the ICE officers in the wake of the shooting — that Republicans’ political stunts in Minnesota got a woman killed.”

Nah. Democrat political stunts—such as refusing to cooperate with federal immigration enforcement, spending months on end physically impeding ICE operations themselves, or baiting warped leftists into taking action against officers—that’s what got this woman killed.

She was simply acting out what others had done, apparently instigated by her own wife, in the hopes of getting a viral video for social media likes. Did this have to happen? No, of course not. We all wish to God this young woman hadn’t lost her life. But it’s not Republicans who are responsible. Nor is it the ICE agent who feared for his life as an SUV he was standing in front of, had its driver punch the gas.

Emmer apparently raised the ire of Craig by voicing his support for ICE following the shooting.

“Our brave ICE agents put their lives on the line every day to protect our communities from dangerous criminals. May God bless and protect them in their efforts,” he said in a statement.

The Senate candidate, meanwhile, posted a video on X echoing Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey in saying ICE needs to get out of “their” city.

“President Trump and his Administration will try to justify their meddling in Minnesota – they will continue to lie and say it’s about keeping folks safe – but Minnesotans know this isn’t true. It’s a flat-out lie. Today, the President’s political stunt got a woman killed,” Craig claimed without evidence.

“Trump’s actions have never been about keeping people safe. They have never been about catching criminals,” she added, referring to the President’s clear efforts to keep people safe and catch criminals. “They have always been about weaponizing our immigration system and using immigrant communities as political pawns.”

“President Trump, Secretary Noem, hear me loud and clear: ICE must leave Minnesota – NOW.”

Or what, exactly? Are Frey and Craig going to back their vile rhetoric with action? Having officers actually physically attempt to keep ICE out? We’re starting to dip into civil war territory if the lunatics start trying to forcibly deter agents from carrying out their lawful duties.

ICE should surge resources and officers to Minnesota instead. An overwhelming show of force will make protestors think twice about obstructing justice and impeding agents in their efforts to do their job and uphold the law.

Editor’s Note: Democrat politicians and their radical supporters will do everything they can to interfere with and threaten ICE agents enforcing our immigration laws.
