THIS is the humiliating moment Iran unveiled its new stealth fighter drone meant to terrify the West.

The footage shows what looks like a full-size jet preparing for take off before zooming out to reveal the tiny toy drone take to the sky.

Iran said the JAS 313 can carry out bombing and reconnaissance missions, but Iranian social media users seemed sceptical.

One user mocked the tiny toy asking if it had been designed for an ant.

Another user said: “You could find a cheaper and more efficient one on Amazon.”

The drone is inspired by the Qaher 313 stealth fighter prototype which was introduced in 2013.

The Qaher 313, also known as the Conqueror 313, is much bigger at 46 feet long, with a wingspan of 26 feet.

But the jet faced scepticism about its actual capabilities.

And with the JAS 313’s size and flight endurance of only an hour it is likely to face the same fate.

Commander of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps’s naval wing, Alireza Tangsiri, defended his new toy.

Tangsiri said: “With its high speed, the JAS 313 can efficiently carry out its missions.”

He added that the drone is expected to be fully operational soon.

The drone was unveiled during a ceremony onboard the Iranian navy’s drone carrier, Shahid Bagheri.
