#2 – Wow: First Lady Melania Trump Names Names As She Makes Blistering Public Comments About Jeffrey Epstein — by Teri Christoph
First Lady Melania Trump made the unusual move Thursday afternoon to make public comments about a matter affecting her and her family. Appearing at a podium somewhere within the White House – and with a serious expression and somber, yet steely, tone – Melania excoriated individuals and organizations who have tried to “defame” her by linking her with the late sex offender, Jeffrey Epstein.
She went on to explain that she was never friends with, nor the victim of, Epstein, saying their paths crossed occasionally in the high society worlds of New York City and Palm Beach, Florida; she also dispelled the suggestion made by some bad actors that she had been introduced to Donald Trump by Epstein, noting she was with her husband the first time she met Epstein back in 2000.

#3 – The ‘Baby President Trump’ Memes Are So Good Your Sides Will Hurt — by Bob Hoge
They’re silly, they’re stupid — but damn, these internet creations are funny. We live in uncertain times (don’t we always?), and the Iranian conflict could seriously ramp up Tuesday night, according to our actual, non-AI-generated president.
A good laugh, though, is sometimes just the thing we need, and Baby Trump, for many — judging by the massive viewership — often delivers the goods.

#4 – Inside Abigail Spanberger’s Stunning Implosion — by Teri Christoph
What’s really behind her tanking approval numbers, then? I tackle this in great detail in this episode of the Smart Girl Politics podcast. It’s partially her hard-left turn on virtually everything she ran on, but it’s also her unabashed support for gerrymandering, her love of taxes and gun confiscation, and her apparent desire to see violent illegals let loose on the streets of Virginia.
And let’s not ignore the fact that she’s just plain weird. A real odd duck, that one. She rivals Kamala Harris on the word salad front, and she can’t even be normal when congratulating a basketball team on a hard-fought win. What’s she trying to hide?

#5 – Former CENTCOM Commander Delivers the Perfect Comment on the Rescue of Officer From Iran — by Nick Arama
McKenzie said he drew two lessons from the action: “First of all, the excellence of the joint force and our ability to rapidly pivot to look for a downed air crewman.” He said they train for it “endlessly” and that we have elaborate plans to go get them. “It’s a very basic part of who we are as American fighting men and women.” It was executed “pretty effectively,” in his judgment, although some aircraft were lost.
Then came the money line.
“It takes a year to build an aircraft — and it takes 200 years to build a military tradition where you don’t leave anybody behind!” McKenzie declared.
