Teena and Rakesh Kamal were a married couple.
Teena, 54, was the founder and CEO of EduNova and a director at the American Red Cross.
She had over 30 years of experience in education and technology and was a graduate of Delhi University as well as Harvard.
Rakesh Kamal, 57, was the chief operating officer of EduNova, the educational tech startup founded by Teena.
EduNova was launched in 2016 as a tech company aiming to help students improve their grades. The startup was dissolved in 2021.
The family lived in a $6.7 million mansion in the affluent town of Dover, Massachusetts, according to the DailyMail.
Who was Ariana Kamal?
Ariana Kamal was the couple’s 18-year-old daughter.
She was a student at Middlebury College in Vermont and wanted to study neuroscience.

Before attending the private liberal arts college, Ariana graduated from the elite prep school Milton Academy in 2023.
She studied at Middlebury for a few semesters before her untimely death.
What happened to them?
The family was found dead in their home on December 28, 2023. They were discovered after a family member went to check on them.
The family member first discovered one family member’s body and called 911. Police later found the other two bodies.
Police said a firearm was found at the scene and close to Rakesh’s body, according to CBS.
The police called the scene a “domestic violence incident.”
Norfolk District Attorney Michael Morrissey said there had never been any issues at the home before.
“There’s been no police reports, there’s been no problems, no domestic issues, no nothing at that house or in the entire neighborhood that I’m aware of,” he said.
Morrissey also said that the last murder in Dover was in 2020.
