Oops: CNN Accidentally Reveals the Big Problem With Kimmel's Show

On Tuesday, Jimmy Kimmel delivered emotional remarks, returning after his suspension.

He did not apologize. He wouldn’t acknowledge that Charlie Kirk’s alleged killer had been identified by authorities as a leftist. He spoke about his suspension as though that was “suppression.”

But if it had been government suppression, Kimmel wouldn’t have been back on so fast. Putting him back on so fast showed what it was really all about – a business decision. And the affiliates still didn’t want him, and I commend them for it. Nexstar and Sinclair didn’t air the show. Sinclair had said they wouldn’t put it back on until he apologized.

I’ll also take issue with CNN’s data analyst Harry Enten talking about “Trump not breaking him” but “energizing him” – President Donald Trump isn’t the one who suspended him, and there’s another problem with the take about “energizing him.”

People wanted to see if he’d apologize. That’s over. He didn’t. He couldn’t even apologize to Erika Kirk, despite invoking her name.

So his viewership is going to return to its normal suckage. No one wanted to watch him before, and he hasn’t changed. Not only that, but if Sinclair and Nexstar don’t put him back on, he’s still losing that audience. And what about advertisers that he’s losing in all that? I think if you were to look back in a couple of weeks, you’ll see the drop off. Because ultimately, he’s not funny.

Plus, his contract is up in May. So are they going to keep him around after this, with the horrible ratings? I think people would rather watch Celebrity Family Feud, which they had on one night, replacing Kimmel. At least that’s funny. I wouldn’t be at all surprised if he’s out the door in May.

Ultimately, it’s always about the bottom line.

Editor’s Note: The mainstream media continues to deflect, gaslight, spin, and lie about President Trump, his administration, and conservatives.
