A WOMAN has died following a medical emergency at an Asda supermarket.
Ambulances and police were called to the scene in Ashford, Kent, on Friday 17 January at 6pm.
The customer was rushed to hospital in critical condition but later died.
A SECAmb spokesperson said: “Crews assessed and treated the patient before conveying them to William Harvey Hospital in a serious condition.”
Flowers have been laid outside the supermarket since the incident.
And emotional tributes have been shared in honour of the woman.
“So sad, condolences to the family,” one person wrote online.
“So sad,” another said.
Meanwhile a third said: “Thoughts are with the family.”
Both Kent Police and Asda have been approached for a comment.
