THERE is more to this image of an iguana than first meets the eye — and you may have a high IQ if you can see it.

Some Reddit users were shocked to find the hidden face peeking out of this seemingly normal photo of an iguana.

The photo was taken two years ago and shared by user confusing_perspective (@confusing_perspective).

It was posted with the title question: “Do you see a scary face?”

Viewers see a large iguana looking towards the camera in front of a motorcycle in the image.

But if you look closely — instead of seeing the reptile’s head straight on — another face appears on the left side of the image.

Viewers spotted the creepy face that appears in profile on the left side of the animal’s face.

“It’s the first thing I noticed and I hate it. It’s on the side of that lizard’s face,” one viewer wrote.

The face looks surprisingly human, with a small nose and protruding lips.

“If you can’t see it, don’t try to… you can’t unsee it and its horrible,” said a second.

The iguana’s eye is also the eye of the creepy face, but seen from the side.

And the animal’s leathery skin gives the face the appearance of being very old or scarred.

“Bro that sh*t scared TF out me!,” one fan wrote.

But not everyone could see the surprising face.

“How do I NOT see a scary face??” one user commented.

“I saw a frightening beast then, oh wait, a lizard,” another joked.
