A VIRAL photo has left people scratching their heads trying to see through the incredible optical illusion.

If you can see the five hidden faces in under six seconds you have ultimate 20/20 vision and God-like eyesight.

The mind-boggling artwork has a man kneeling in front of another person wearing a red robe as others watch on from behind.

A person with brilliant vision should be able to quickly find the faces one of which is cheekily blended in within the two main men in the photo.

If you can solve the optical illusion, you could be the next Robert Langdon with your clever problem-solving brain.

The art features four men in a religious setting, as one kneels before a wise older man either praying or looking for forgiveness.

In the background two other men look on as the bearded man rests his hands on his shoulders.

The contrast between the light reds and browns of the front two men and the dark black of the background is designed to slow you down and distract you.

The aim is for the dark colours to sneakily put you off and waste your time searching through that area instead of looking at the obvious areas in the image.

This makes it near impossible to find the final face in under six seconds as you need to search through it super-fast.

Studies have shown, people who regularly challenge themselves with optical illusions and puzzles see big improvements in their problem-solving skills, concentration and attention.

Psychologists at The University of Glasgow found that staring at an optical illusion can improve eye sight by allowing you to see small print.

And according to ZenBuisness: “These visual puzzles can give you a good mental workout that can, in turn, help you think more efficiently and solve problems more easily.”

The testing brainteaser looks like a painting made by one of the greats Rembrandt but actually it’s from Oleg Shupliak, a clever artist who loves testing his fans detective skills.

The photo left many eager to find the hidden faces but several struggled due to cleverly placed features of the final face in the unusual style.

In this particular piece, people with a high visual IQ should be able to spot the first four faces within seconds and leave themselves some time to look through the trickery and stay focused on the slight giveaways in the image.

Many people will be able to quickly spot a couple of words but then struggle to get the remaining one before the time is up.
