Harry Styles heaped praise onto his girlfriend Olivia Wilde during an interview on Sirius XM’s The Howard Stern Show.

The singer, 28, said he had a ‘wonderful’ experience being directed by Olivia, 38, on the upcoming psychological film Don’t Worry Darling – on the set of which they met in 2020. 

The former One Direction and X Factor star told the New York-based radio show: ‘Acting is kind of very uncomfortable at times.

‘I think you have to trust a lot. It requires a lot of trust if you want to kind of give it everything, and I think being able to trust your director is a gift, so that was very helpful.’

The Watermelon Sugar hitmaker added that all of this combined ‘meant for a really nice experience’ working on the film, which has a scheduled release date for September 23.  

Recent reports have suggested that Olivia and Harry are getting very serious after she introduced the pop star to her two children, Otis, seven, and Daisy, five.

Insiders have claimed that despite it looking like a ‘showbiz hook up’ at first, it has become clear that the loved-up couple are much more than that.  

Harry, who has previously dated a slew of celebrity girlfriends, has allegedly never been so serious about anyone before, reports The Sun.

A source said: ‘This looked like quite a showbizzy thing at first, two glamorous people hooking up but now it’s obviously a lot more than that.

‘They held back a bit at first but now that things are more settled the time was right to do the next thing.

‘It’s really exciting for them – and for Harry it’s the most serious he has ever really been about somebody.’  

It was reported that Harry is ‘slowly’ getting to know the children of his girlfriend Olivia almost a year into their relationship.

An insider claimed that the star has been spending more time with Olivia’s kids – who she shares with ex Jason Sudeikis.

Olivia is living in the UK with the singer while her estranged husband Jason films the third series of the comedy drama Ted Lasso.

Taking to his Instagram Story, the singer wrote: ‘IT HATH RETURNED. THANK YOU.’  alongside a photo of his beloved jewellery.

The musician lost his ring during the second weekend of the American music festival when it flew off his finger throughout his set.
