Is Joseph Kennedy Sr The Inspiration Behind Jack Nelson?
There is some influence of Joseph Kennedy Sr behind the fictitious character of Jack Nelson in Peaky Blinders.
According to Den of Greek, they spoke to the Peaky Blinder’s creator, Steven Knight before the premiere of season 6. They questioned Steven if Joseph Kennedy Sr. pushed the character of Jack.
Knight initially responded with a “Yes” and then a “No”. He stated that he is not giving all the information this soon. Despite that, he has announced that it does resonate with the life of Sir Joseph Kennedy Sr and other senior politicians.
