Head coach Nick is blessed to be part of a family of five, including his wife and three kids. He also grew up in a family of five with his parents and two brothers who were avid Pittsburgh Steelers fans.

He remembers glimpses of his childhood when he used to be a great fan of the Steelers due to the influence of his parents. His father, Fran, has also worked as a professional head coach at Southwestern Central High School’s football team. It is the same school from which Sirani and his brothers graduated. Like his father, Jay, their brother, also served as Southwestern Central High School’s head coach.

On the other hand, Mike Sirianni, his other brother, is the head coach at Washington & Jefferson College in Washington, Pennsylvania. He has been in the role since 2003 and is still going strong, putting on a fantastic show every year. In his eleven seasons as head coach, he has amassed a record of 101-24. He was named PAC Coach of the Year five times in his first 11 years at Washington & Jefferson.

While growing up, he had all the facilities to become a reputed football player and even started his career as a player. Sirianni participated in the Division III Mount Union wide receiver program in Alliance, Ohio. As a sophomore, an injury and compartment syndrome almost ended his playing days.

However, he didn’t give up playing and ought his health to establish a healthy image of a player in front of his father. As a result, the NFL head coach finished his senior year with 13 touchdowns and 998 yards. He also participated in one season of the American Indoor Football League competition for the Canton Legends before concluding his playing carer in 2005.

However, he couldn’t keep himself away from the game, and immediately, he kickstarted his career as a coach, following in the footsteps of his father and brother.

He is close to his family, but due to their team’s preference, the family gets tangled into arguments that are only temporary. He never fails to spend quality time with his family whenever he gets time.
