Tina Newman serves as the production executive at The Walt Disney Studios. In the trail between Johnny Depp and Amber Heard, it was Newman’s turn to testify now. Johnn goes on with his legal battle against his ex-wife.

The Aquaman actress accused Johnny of domestic violence, which totally affected the actor’s career, who also lost his leading role as Captain Jack Sparrow in the Pirates of the Caribbean.

The trial is taking place in Virginia, United States, and it has been revealed that Johnny was also a victim of domestic and psychological violence from Amber.

Many people believed that the actor should be taken to the characters that were taken away from him after the lawsuits against him damaged his image. Johny maintains that after Amber’s accusations, Disney made the decision to block his return to any future Pirates of the Caribbean projects.

Walt Disney representative Tina Newman denied in her testimony that any decision-maker at the company led it to keep Johnny Depp out of the sixth “Pirates of the Caribbean” film due to his ex-wife, Amber Heard’s op-ed.

Newman stated that the actor’s role in the film was not affected by his ex-wife’s op-ed of 2018, the basis of his lawsuit against her. She further confirmed that she never saw any documentation within Disney that referenced Amber’s op-ed.

Referring to the topic, Disney production executive Newman has never seen any documents that referenced Amber’s op-ed, never discussed it, and moreover, did not hear of or partake in discussion of its result.
