Why Is Anne Hegerty Leaving Beat the Chasers? Illness - Is She Sick?

She’s also known as The Governess, and she’s left Beat the Chasers. The Chase Australia’s Issa Schultz has replaced her on Bradley Walsh’s ITV show.

Anne’s replacement, Issa Schultz, said he had big shoes to fill, and he’s not wrong. Since 2010, The Governess has been pursuing competitors in an effort to keep them from winning large sums of money.

 

Why Is Anne Hegerty Leaving Beat the Chasers?

After catching Covid, Anne Hegerty, also known as The Governess, was forced to pull out of filming the ITV show.

The 63-year-old told her 161 thousand Twitter followers that she was alright but was self-isolating. She stated that because of her deal with Covid-19, she will not be filming this season of Beat The Chasers.

 

 

Anne is generally seen with Mark Labbett, Jenny Ryan, Paul Sinha, Shaun Wallace, and Darragh Ennis, who are also Chasers.

Hegerty explained in a tweet that she will be replaced with Issa Schultz, the star of The Chase Australia. Issa, also known as The Supernerd, is the new Chaser who is also the primary Chaser in the Australian edition of the show.

 

Anne Hegerty Illness – Is She Sick?

After a Covid struggle, Anne Hegerty of ITV’s Beat the Chasers has retaliated against anti-vaxxers. Because she had Covid at the time of filing, the Governess will be missing the show this week.

Anne, who goes by the moniker Frosty Knickers, explains why to her fans. She wasn’t on the show and didn’t begin testing negative until we were almost done, she wrote.

 

 

Anne reassured viewers on Twitter following the first show. She wrote that she was only positive for nine days, but that she was OK now. According to a representative for ITV, RadioTimes.com Regrettably, Anne The Governess Hegerty has contracted COVID-19, so the upcoming Beat The Chasers will not be filmed.

We look forward to having her back on set soon, they added. Issa Schultz of The Chase and Beat The Chaser Australia has agreed to fill in for us. Every weekday at 9 p.m., ITV Beat the Chasers continues to air.

Anne Hegerty is a British quiz show host and TV personality.. Since joining the ITV game show The Chase in 2010, Hegerty has been known as The Governess.

Over the course of 11 years and 415 episodes, the Governess has managed to win 79.8% of her pursuits. This makes her the best chaser in the world, as well as the most difficult to beat.

 

 

She has also been a chaser on the spin-off show, Beat the Chasers, since 2020. In 2018, the 63-year-old appeared on the ITV reality show I’m a Celebrity-Get Me Out of Here.
