Zain Nadella, was born with a disability called Cerebral Palsy. The son of Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella has died suffering from this same Cerebral Palsy.

The rare congenital disorder condition affects a person’s ability to move and maintain balance and posture. It is the most common motor disability in childhood.

Zain had been receiving much of his treatment from the Seattle Children’s Hospital.

Last year, the hospital had partnered with Microsoft to create the Zain Nadella Endowed Chair in Pediatric Neurosciences.

Zain Nadella was only 26 years of age at the time of his death. He was born in the year 1996 and his birthday is on August 13.

His mother Anu Nadella had given birth to him via an emergency cesarean section.

The Microsoft CEO has stated: “Zain was born at 11:29 p.m. on August 13, 1996, all of three pounds. He did not cry,”

As described by his parents, Zain had an eclectic taste in music. He always had a bright and sunny smile.

In 2017, Nadella had given an insight into how he and his wife felt when they became the parent of Zain.

In a LinkedIn post, the Microsoft CEO shared that Zain’s birth was a turning point in his career. He also said that Zain had taught him the true meaning of empathy.

Zain Nadella’s net worth details have not been covered anywhere. Although, we do know that he was raised in a very wealthy family.

His father, Satya Nadella has an estimated net worth of $350 million as of 2022, says the Celebrity Net Worth.

After starting his journey with Microsoft, Satya Nadella eventually became the executive VP of Microsoft Cloud, before becoming its CEO.

Since taking over the position, Satya has focused the company on designing products to better serve disabled people.

Zain Nadella is the only son of  Satya Nadella and his wife Anu Nadella.

The Indian-born American family also includes two sisters of Zain, their names are Tara and Divya Nadella.

What Exactly Is Cerebral Palsy?

Mayo Clinic defines Cerebral Palsy as a group of disorders that severely affects mobility. The symptoms may appear either post-birth or during early childhood. Generally, the disease causes impaired movement, spastic limbs, unusual postures, involuted reflexes and movement, difficulty in walking and even more depending upon the severity of the disease. Usually, the patients affected with CP have great difficulty in swallowing, focusing on distant/nearby objects, eye muscle imbalance, and sometimes a combination of all of these.
