Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor is set to lose his honorary freedom of the City of London, following his refusal to give it up willingly.

The former royal, whose titles and privileges were revoked by King Charles in October due to ties with the late Jeffrey Epstein, was originally awarded the honor in 2012 because his father, Prince Philip, was a freeman. In April, the City of London Corporation requested he return it, but he did not reply.
And as a result, the corporation is now developing a process to remove Andrew’s right to the freedom because there isn’t a current mechanism to do so.
A City of London Corporation spokesperson told the Daily Telegraph newspaper: “Our thoughts remain with the victims of Jeffrey Epstein, and with all victims and survivors of sexual abuse and exploitation.
