David Foster has strongly dismissed claims that he deliberately ignored Meghan, the Duchess of Sussex, during a recent charity gathering.

The 76-year-old music producer became an internet sensation last week following a viral video incident. The footage shows him and his wife, Katherine McPhee, approaching to pose alongside Meghan and her husband, Prince Harry. The clip seems to depict Foster bypassing Meghan’s extended hand without any notice.
The quartet then posed for photographs together on the red carpet at the event, which was held to mark 40 years of his David Foster Foundation, and David has now hit out at speculation surrounding the “awkward moment” as he insisted he had already spoken to his “dear friends” just minutes before the footage was filmed.
He said in a statement shared with People magazine: “As the host of the David Foster and Friends foundation event, I had already greeted our friends, the Duke and Duchess, at the entrance 10 minutes before the red carpet encounter.
