In celebration of Prince George turning 13, a fresh portrait has been unveiled.

Captured by photographer Matt Porteous, the portrait features Prince George, the eldest child of Prince William and Catherine, Princess of Wales, in a relaxed pose. Dressed in a dapper dark suit with an unbuttoned white shirt at the collar, he is notably without a tie. The photograph was taken at Kensington Palace following last month’s Trooping the Colour.
The image was shared on William and Catherine’s social media channels along with a caption that featured a party popper emoji and the words: “Happy 13th birthday, George!”
This is set to be a big year for George, who is second in line to the throne, because he will be starting a new school in September.
