Kelly Osbourne Honors Late Father Ozzy with Heartfelt Tribute at Royal Ascot Through Stylish Headgear

On June 17, 2026, Kelly Osbourne paid homage to her late father, Ozzy Osbourne, with a unique fashion statement at Royal Ascot.

The television personality, now 41, graced the prestigious British racecourse in Berkshire, southeastern England, on Tuesday, the first day of the event. Her choice of a bat-shaped fascinator was a subtle nod to her father’s legacy.

Ozzy, who passed away in July 2025 at the age of 76, just over two weeks after his final performance, became famously linked to bats after a notorious onstage incident in 1982. During a concert, a fan threw a bat onto the stage, and Ozzy, thinking it was a toy, bit its head off, cementing the creature’s association with him.

Kelly exuded effortless sophistication with her bat-themed headpiece, pairing it with an elegant black dress by Karen Millen.

The star took to social media to show off her Royal Enclosure badge, meaning she had access to Ascot’s most exclusive area.

King Charles and Queen Camilla were in attendance at Royal Ascot on Tuesday, as were Zara and Mike Tindall, and new couple Peter Phillips and Harriet Sperling, who married on June 6th.

Afterwards, Kelly was pleased to take her heels off.

She posted a picture on her Instagram Stories of her bare feet, and she wrote: “If your shoes are glad to come off, you probably had a day worth remembering”.

Earlier this year, Kelly told how she was “not” fine following her beloved dad’s death.

Speaking in February, she told PEOPLE magazine: “I won’t lie. I won’t be one of those people that say I’m fine because I’m not.

“That’s the hardest thing I’ve ever been through in my life.

“But I have my man, and I have my gorgeous baby, and my mom and my brother and I so bonded. I didn’t think we could ever get more bonded, but we did.

“And my father was one of the greatest men to ever live [on] the planet. And to show I don’t have enough gratitude to the Grammys for what they’re doing tonight. You know, it’s a really beautiful thing.

“There’s so many things that we do that we always keep a seat at the table for him.

“I light a candle every day. For him, I wear a locket. It’s under my dress, you can’t see it, but it has his picture in it, and my baby opens it every day and gives it a kiss and says hi to Papa.

“And every time I see the clock at 11:11, I know that’s him talking to me.”
