Prince William has confirmed his presence at the World Cup final is assured if England advances to that stage.

Prince William is passionate about soccer
As the Football Association’s patron and a dedicated supporter of the sport, the Prince of Wales has been following England’s early matches from home. Nonetheless, he has committed to traveling to the United States to support the team at the MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey, on 19 July—should they win their upcoming knockout rounds.
During his appearance on the New Heights podcast, which was recorded a few days after England’s first game against Croatia but only released on Friday (03.07.26), William was asked by co-host Jason Kelce: “What in your mind is a successful World Cup for England?”
He replied: “I think winning it.”
