On June 6, 2026, Peter Phillips and Harriet Sperling tied the knot.
The 48-year-old entrepreneur, who is the offspring of Princess Anne and her former spouse Captain Mark Phillips, wed the NHS nurse at All Saints’ Church in Kemble, Gloucester, on Saturday. Attendees at the ceremony included Peter’s uncles, King Charles and Prince Edward, accompanied by Queen Camilla and Sophie, Duchess of Edinburgh. Also present were cousins Prince William, Princess Beatrice, and Princess Eugenie, along with their partners Catherine, Princess of Wales, Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi, and Jack Brooksbank.

Peter Phillips has married Harriet Sperling
Peter’s daughters from his previous marriage to Autumn Kelly, Savannah, 15, and Isla, 14, took on the role of bridesmaids, joined by Harriet’s 13-year-old daughter Georgina, whose father is Harriet’s former husband, Antonio St John Sperling.
Post-ceremony, Peter shielded his bride with a large white umbrella as they shared a kiss before entering a waiting vehicle. They then made their way to Gatcombe Park, Princess Anne’s residence, where their wedding reception was held.
After leaving the church, Peter sheltered his new wife with a large white umbrella and the couple shared a kiss as they got into a waiting car to be taken to Gatcombe Park, the home of Anne, for their reception.
Harriet wore an Emilia Wickstead dress teamed with Jimmy Choo shoes, Pragnell earrings, and the Pragnell family tiara, which had previously been present at the coronations of both King George VI and Peter’s grandmother, Quen Elizabeth II.
The bridesmaids wore matching cream shoes and dresses also by Emilia Wickstead and held the bride’s train as they headed into the church, with Harriet accompanied down the aisle by her brother Nicholas Sanders in lieu of their late father, Rupert Sanders, who passed away in 2023.
Peter wore a pale blue waistcoat and matching buttonhole flower, and was accompanied by his best man Andrew Tucker, a childhood friend.
Other guests included the groom’s sister, Zara Tindall, and her husband Mike, and his half-sister Stephanie Hosier and her husband William, as well as the bride’s mother Mary Sanders and sisters Rebecca Elder and Louisa Speakman.
Millie Richardson designed the wedding flowers and floral archways to the church and wedding reception, using locally sourced, English-grown flowers, which were sustainably minded and eco-conscious. All of the church arrangements are to be shared among the local community as a gesture of thanks for the support the couple received in planning their big day.
Peter and Harriet met at a hockey match their daughters were playing in and made their public debut as a couple during the Badminton Horse Trials in May 2024. They announced their engagement in August last year.
