In a groundbreaking move, the renowned NHL franchise has named Michigan-based Priority as its inaugural Jersey Patch Partner. This multi-year collaboration signals a strategic alliance between Red Wings and Priority, a leading waste management company celebrated for its commitment to environmental sustainability and exemplary customer service.
The partnership will see Priority’s distinctive brand marks featured prominently on both home and away jerseys, commencing with the upcoming game against the New York Islanders. In Detroit, Priority became recognized as Michigan’s fastest-growing collection services provider. It solidified its presence through a comprehensive agreement to manage trash, recycling, yard waste, and bulk pick-up services.
Established in 2018, Priority currently extends its services across various counties in Michigan, embodying a commitment to responsible waste management. As a part of this recent collaboration, Priority, and Ilitch Sports + Entertainment will jointly spearhead the co-operation. The coordinated sustainability programs will further emphasize their dedication to environmental stewardship.
Ryan Gustafson, Ilitch Sports + Entertainment Executive Vice President & Chief Operating Officer, was very enthusiastic about the partnership. They highlighted Priority’s contribution to enhancing sustainability through data and technology. The partnership goes beyond jersey patches, with Priority’s branding already gracing the ice and dashboards at Little Caesars Arena.
