Liverpool’s sleek new home and away kits for the 2025/26 season mark the third chapter in their long-standing partnership with adidas.

After years with New Balance and Nike, the Reds are back with the iconic three-stripes brand, having first teamed up with adidas from 1985 to 1996 and again from 2006 to 2012. Those eras delivered key moments in Liverpool’s history – three top-flight titles, three FA Cups, and plenty of legendary kits – and now the club is hoping to make the third time just as memorable.

The home shirt stays true to Liverpool’s roots with an all-red design, complemented by sharp white adidas three-stripes on the sleeves and a modern crew-neck collar. It’s a classic, clean look that’s unmistakably Liverpool.

Meanwhile, the away strip is a stylish nod to the club’s heritage. Featuring an off-white base, the kit incorporates bold black and red detailing. The Liver Bird crest is framed within a shield, a subtle tribute to the shape of Anfield’s iconic Main Stand, which dates back to 1906.

As with every season, Liverpool’s kits honor those they’ve lost. On the reverse of both shirts, the 97 emblem – commemorating the 97 fans who tragically lost their lives in the Hillsborough disaster – is encased by the eternal flames at the nape of the neck, a poignant tribute to the memory of those who lost their lives that day.

Additionally, fans have the option to include a tribute to Diogo Jota, with “Diogo J. 20” printed on their shirts. All profits from these sales will go to the LFC Foundation, which will use the funds to create a grassroots football program in Jota’s name, offering a heartfelt way to honour the forward’s contribution to the club following his tragic death in July.

Ben Latty, Chief Commercial Officer at LFC, said of the launch: “This is more than just the launch of a new kit – it marks the beginning of a 10-year relationship for LFC and adidas. Since announcing the partnership in March, there’s been a huge sense of anticipation and excitement. This first collection sets the tone for seasons to come.”

Liverpool debuted the new home kit during a pre-season double-header against Athletic Club at Anfield, while the away kit will make its first appearance in the FA Community Shield against Crystal Palace on August 10.

Both kits are available to purchase now.
