The Brooklyn Nets will welcome the Washington Wizards to the Barclays Center for an NBA game on Tuesday. The Nets won their last game 109-102 over the Magic. Kevin Durant scored a season-high 45 points. Durant shot 19 of 24 from the field and added seven rebounds and five assists, playing 39 minutes on the second night of back-to-back games.
“You really don’t know. I really don’t know,” Durant said. “I’ve had games where I shot incredible in warmups and had the worst shooting night that night. Mainly, if my mind is in the right place coming into the game, as far as following the game plan, I feel like that’s when I had solid games.”
The Wizards on the other hand won 142-127 against the Timberwolves in their last game. Kristaps Porzingis scored a career-high 41 points, including 29 in the first half, and the Washington Wizards beat Minnesota 142-127 on Monday.
The Wizards led 77-58 at halftime, and Porzingis was well on his way to surpassing his previous career high of 40 points. “I have to admit, I feel good,” Porzingis said. “I thought that I was not going to get it because we were going to blow them out by 30 and then not play the fourth. I was thinking about that scenario.”
