Nike is making waves across South America with the reintroduction of its legendary Total 90 design. This time, the spotlight is on Brazilian powerhouse Corinthians, who have just unveiled their attention-grabbing third kit for the 2025/26 football season.
Marketed under the tagline “Total Corinthians”, the new jersey boasts a sophisticated black base, featuring subtle striping that draws the eye to its striking orange accents. This vibrant detailing is a nod to the past while keeping a modern edge.
The iconic Nike swoosh and the club’s emblem shine brightly against the dark background, complemented by the distinctive Total 90 circular number print located beneath the crest. This circular motif is replicated on the reverse side, and a nostalgic T90 insignia is subtly placed inside the collar, offering a touch of retro flair.
Completing the ensemble, the kit includes black shorts and socks adorned with orange trimmings, creating a sleek blackout appearance with a fiery twist. This design not only celebrates the club’s heritage but also sets a bold tone for the future.
Vinicius Manfredi, Corinthians’ marketing superintendent, expressed that the jersey is a tribute to a legendary era in the club’s history. It aims to honor the past while inspiring the current generation to wear the shirt with pride and passion.
Nike Fisia marketing director Renato Aguiar added: “This shirt represents a bridge between generations. Total 90 was a symbol of an era marked by innovation and boldness in football, and Corinthians, with its historical achievements and legendary characters, is the ideal stage to revive and reinvent this heritage.”
A retro revival with a modern twist, the new third kit debuted in Corinthians’ 2-1 defeat to Flamengo on Sunday.
