Grace Hayden made quite the impression at Sydney’s renowned Bronte Beach on Sunday, soaking up the sun while sharing affectionate moments with her partner, Wilson Statham.

The 23-year-old, alongside Statham, who stands to inherit the Sundown Pastoral cotton fortune, appeared deeply in love as they strolled hand in hand and embraced both on the shores and in the ocean of this picturesque eastern Sydney location.

Hayden, the daughter of Australian cricket icon Matthew Hayden, showcased her well-known figure in a minimalist blue bikini.

She accessorized her beach look with a simple silver necklace, coordinating bangles, and stylish tortoiseshell sunglasses.

The couple was seen holding hands on the sandy shoreline before wading into the waves, where they shared an intimate moment in the surf.

Hayden then wrapped her arms around her boyfriend as they walked back to their towels, both of them smiling and laughing after their dip in the ocean.

The beach outing comes at a busy time for Hayden, as she returns to Australia for the Ashes series against England after covering the game in India and reporting on the Hong Kong Sixes competition.

She has also landed a role covering the International League T20 competition in the United Arab Emirates, where she’ll be commentating alongside cricket greats including Wasim Akram, Andy Flower, Ian Bishop and Harbhajan Singh.

Hayden has been keeping extremely busy since landing back Down Under.

She got in some modelling work in the Whitsunday Islands, telling her followers that the photo shoot is for ‘something very exciting coming soon’.

The Queenslander also hosted an evening with her father’s former teammate, legendary fast bowler Glenn McGrath, and participated in the pro-am tournament for PGA Australia at the Royal Queensland Golf Club.

Hayden proved she has her father’s hand-eye coordination as she did a fine job of launching drives down the fairway, showing great form with her swing.

Statham is the son of Queensland moguls Danielle and David Statham.

Wilson’s parents own and operate the Sundown Pastoral Company, a family-run but privately owned cotton and cropping enterprise.

Their empire spans more than 70,000 hectares across Queensland and northern New South Wales.

Grace and Wilson went public with their romance at the Randwick races on April 6 last year, and were spotted a month later holding hands at a Sydney pub.

The romance came months after she was linked to Hawthorn premiership hero Campbell Brown, who is now a horse racing expert in addition to commentating on the AFL for Channel Seven.

Hayden got her big break when she became Seven’s Oaks Day ambassador in 2022. She also got glammed up to help launch Sydney’s Everest racing carnival this year.

She embraced a very different look when she was an ambassador for the world-famous Birdsville Races in outback Queensland in September.

Describing the experience as ‘truly unforgettable’, she posted photos from a dawn photo shoot featuring multiple outfit changes, soaked up the Cup Parade, and placed her tips for the big race – before finishing the day in a bold red shirt, classic jeans, and a wide-brimmed jillaroo-style hat.

In January, Hayden got a huge career boost when she landed a role as a presenter with the Hong Kong-based digital platform Racing X.

Her role will see her travel the globe covering different sporting events in places like Saudi Arabia, New Zealand and Las Vegas.

The 23-year-old also had a brush with a stalker that left her cautious about how much of her life she shares online

However, 2025 hasn’t all been plain sailing for the rising star.

In September she revealed she’d endured a deeply unsettling encounter with a so-called fan while working in India.

‘I actually had a stalker – it was really scary,’ she told the Daily Mail.

‘He was convinced that we were married and wanted to take me home with him.’

Luckily, staff at the swanky hotel where she was staying weren’t having it. They noticed the stalker straight away and dealt with him before anything escalated.

Thanks to the support of her colleagues, Hayden said she ‘never felt unsafe’.

She added: ‘We’re all a big family but everyone looks out for each other.’

Still, the ordeal has left its mark.

‘It has woken me up to the fact that people have access to your entire life. Whatever you put online, everyone is watching,’ Grace admitted.

‘And people don’t always have the best intentions – so it’s made me more cautious and been a real learning curve for me in India.’
