Dwayne Johnson hypes up the launch of United Football League’s inaugural season at NASCAR’s Daytona 500 event

It’s safe to assume that Dwayne Johnson has a lot on his plate at the moment. This Monday, he served as the Grand Marshal at NASCAR’s Daytona 500. Ahead of the grand honor that allowed him to instruct the drivers to start their engines, the Hollywood actor caught up with pit reporter Jamie Little. Upon being asked about the inaugural season of the UFL, Johnson seemed exuberant.

At first, he lauded the diligent race car drivers for exuding amicability. And then the 51-year-old turned his attention towards the United Football League. The XFL-USFL merged entity is slated to kick off the season on March 30. Johnson said that the concept aims to create more opportunities for spring football players and their families to succeed.

The People’s Champ donned a UFL-themed custom jacket that must’ve gone through over 100,000 fans in attendance at the Daytona International Speedway. However, the start of the race got postponed following incessant rains on Sunday. It made Johnson wait for another day to give that cue. But it was worth the wait, as the wrestler-turned-actor would feel. William Byron pulled off a blinder as he spearheaded a 1-2 finish for Hendrick Motorsports.

Now that it’s said and done, Dwayne Johnson can revert his focus back to WWE and the UFL’s debut. The season opener features the Birmingham Stallions and Arlington Renegades. The league’s owner, Johnson, and co-owner, Dany Garcia, have made significant investments, and it remains to be seen how big of a success the UFL turns out to be.

For the first time in over two decades, The Rock has brought back that sinister side of his that the fans haven’t seen since the Attitude Era. Last week on SmackDown, The Great One left Dwayne Johnson’s soul in the gorilla position and walked out as if he were in the 90s.

And once he got into the ring, Rock lashed out at Salt Lake City. After mocking the state of Utah for its notorious practice of polygamy, The Rock even fat-shamed a guy near the front section. He then called out Cody crybabies for the movement they staged on social media.

As a result, that took the planned Roman Reigns vs. The Rock off the table. It remains to be seen how Cody Rhodes responds to The People’s Champ’s malicious intentions. A hidden conspiracy theory against Roman Reigns by The Rock has also been unearthed by the fans.
