Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson has talked to Nick Khan about buying WWE, but he is unsure if the position is right for him. The Brahma Bull, who owns the XFL and has his own film production company called “Seven Bucks Productions,” is no stranger to being a business owner. Johnson also owns a tequila brand called Teremana Tequila, which has won awards.

In an interview with BNN Bloomberg as part of a Black Adam publicity tour, Johnson stated that the subject of purchasing WWE had come up. He said,“ Nick [Khan] and I have talked about that, and we always enjoy that over a bottle of Teremana. I love the wrestling business. I grew up in it. My grandfather [and] my dad started here in Canada, where [his father] was born. So, I’m not quite too sure if a board seat is in my future, but possibly other things are in my future, for sure.”

Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson – “You got to love the professional wrestling business”

Johnson also offered WWE some guidance in the event that its executives decide to look for a sale. HE said, “I think the key if there were a sale of the WWE is to make sure that whoever acquires that brand in that property, you’ve got to love the wrestling business. Of course, you can love the asset, and you can love everything that comes with it, but you got to love the professional wrestling business. If not, then you could kind of see the writing on the wall; four or five years down the road, what will happen?”

Roman Reigns vs The Rock

WWE Undisputed Universal Champion Roman Reigns thinks that if The Rock ever came back for a match, it would be against him.

The Tribal Chief and the People’s Champ are cousins and go a long way back. In fact, The Rock helped Roman Reigns win the Royal Rumble in 2015 when he helped his cousin fend off both the Big Show and Kane, who at the time were part of the Authority. And because they share a close relationship, Reigns believes that The Rock would want to face him.
