Spain, the current European champions, are among the top contenders for the 2026 World Cup, and fans now have a sneak peek at the potential kit La Roja may sport in North America next summer.
Recently leaked images by Opaleak unveil an adidas creation that skillfully marries traditional elements with a daring modern twist.
The jersey features a rich red base with contrasting dark navy sleeves, complemented by adidas’s signature shoulder stripes in a red-yellow-red arrangement, subtly reflecting the Spanish flag. Vertical yellow pinstripes, adorned with dotted details, add a layer of texture and sophistication.
This design marks a notable return to stripes for Spain’s World Cup home kit, a feature not seen since the 2006 tournament, and previously during the USA ’94 World Cup.
As a creative touch, graphic designer Izan (@izandegeer) has envisioned Barcelona’s rising star Lamine Yamal in the new adidas attire, a depiction that could become iconic if Spain replicates their Euro 2024 success on the World Cup stage.

It marks the first time in two decades that Spain have worn a striped home shirt at a World Cup, with the last appearance coming in 2006 (and before that, at USA ‘94).
Graphic designer Izan (@izandegeer) has even mocked up Barcelona starlet Lamine Yamal wearing the new adidas design – an image fans will no doubt be seeing plenty of if Spain repeat their Euro 2024 heroics and go all the way at the World Cup.
The Spain 2026 home kit is expected to be officially released in November 2025.
