Footy fans have been hitting up the AFL's hottest player on Tinder - see the VERY racy message that left him speechless on live TV

AFL star Bailey Smith has been left shocked by a very sexualised Tinder message directed at him during an appearance on Nine’s Today show on Friday.

The Geelong midfielder took to Instagram on Wednesday to announce he has joined the dating platform, and any footy fans who thought it was unlikely he’d struggle for potential suitors have been proven correct.

Hosts Karl Stefanovic and Sarah Abo were asking the 25-year-old about the new double-dating feature when they started sharing messages he’s been receiving along with a friend of his called ‘Gorms’.

‘And I bet the whole thing melted down,’ Abo joked.

‘That’s been hard, as well, just scrolling through. I can’t control Gorms, my mate. He swipes for the double date and you don’t need a joint decision [to agree to the date].

‘We need to have a little Zoom call and chat about who we’re swiping on.’

Stefanovic and Abo then put up some of the messages Smith and Gorms have received, with one suggesting a date racing push bikes around Lake Burley Griffin in Canberra.

But Smith was taken aback by another message that read: ‘You should pick my friend Kimbi… She’s the kind of woman who could make Bailey Smith forget leg day. She’s hotter than a grand final in September and way more fun than pre-season training… She’s got main character vibes with WAG potential… minus the drama.’

The remark about leg day had Stefanovic in stitches, as it implied ‘Kimbi’ could help Smith – who is famous for his tough training regimes – exercise his legs in the bedroom.

‘Forget leg day? Hang on!’ a stunned Smith said.

‘Is that what I’m thinking [it is]? Righty-o. I’d better not swear. Don’t be talking like that!’

Smith is single after splitting from his glamorous girlfriend of two years, Gemma Dawkins, last year.

They made their public debut as a couple at the 2023 Derby Day in Melbourne.

He missed the entire 2024 season for the Western Bulldogs following an ACL injury before joining the Cats for this campaign.

Smith has admitted he went off the rails when he was unable to play.

‘When you have to sit with yourself and be your own source of entertainment, fulfillment, stimulation, that’s when I had to look inward and realise, “S**t, I am pretty f***ed up and I need to sort my s**t out,’ he told the Real Stuff podcast.

‘I got into some bad ways going flat-out after my knee [injury] and getting on the p**s and being an idiot, which we all do, but that was my coping mechanism.’

The code’s most eligible bachelor was in hot water with the AFL after Geelong’s win against his old side earlier this year.

He raised eyebrows after talking about the possibility of celebrating a win with a few ‘nose beers’ – slang for cocaine – in a comment on Instagram.

One follower asked Smith if he’d had ‘nose beers after the game mate?’.

Smith responded by writing ‘na bro, after the flag maybe tho’, with the comment coming after he admitted he was holding a bag containing a white powered drug in a photo that went viral after the 2021 season.

That saw him get slammed by AFL CEO Andrew Dillon.

‘We are talking with Geelong and talking with Bailey and we wouldn’t want to see it again,’ Dillon said.

‘He delivered the comments, he put up an apology and I absolutely don’t condone it.

‘Drug use is a serious thing and shouldn’t be joked about. ‘If he has time again, I’m not sure he’d do it.’
