Holland’s stars were in full party mode as they arrived back at their team hotel on Saturday night following their 3-1 last-16 World Cup win over the United States.

The Dutch booked their spot in the quarterfinals following goals from Memphis Depay, Daley Blind and Denzel Dumfries in Qatar.

And Depay led the carnival celebrations as they were welcomed back to their base for the tournament, while USMNT stars were left to be consoled by their loved ones.

With Shakira’s Waka Waka 2010 official World Cup song blaring out through speakers, Depay danced his way down the carpet.

His teammates followed his lead as they were greeted by staff waving orange team flags.

Their welcome party also had masks of the players’ faces, with some receiving them as they walked past.

Holland coach Louis van Gaal even got in on the act by filming the team’s arrival and then celebrating with staff.

The beaming boss disregarded the quality of his video totally by hugging two members of staff with his mobile phone held aloft.

Van Gaal was in a very happy mood with the former Manchester United manager kissing Dumfries after the defender sealed victory with their third goal after Haji Wright pulled one back for the USA.

Holland face Argentina on Friday for a place in the last four after Lionel Messi and Co. beat Australia 2-1.
