Joe Rogan sends dire warning to Jake Paul before Anthony Joshua fight: 'You are f***ed'

Joe Rogan has made a bold prediction about Jake Paul’s upcoming fight with Anthony Joshua, stating that Paul will be in serious trouble the moment Joshua lands a right hand. With their match set for next month, Rogan did not hold back his skepticism about the YouTuber-turned-boxer’s chances against the seasoned heavyweight champion.

The announcement of Paul facing off against Joshua on December 19 in Miami sent shockwaves through the boxing community. Joshua, a two-time heavyweight champion, boasts considerable power and extensive experience, making many concerned about Paul’s safety in the ring.

Rogan, speaking on his popular podcast, The Joe Rogan Experience, expressed his disbelief at the matchup. “Realistically, it’s one of the craziest propositions of all time,” Rogan remarked. “You’re taking a guy who recently fought in what seemed like a sparring match against a 58-year-old Mike Tyson, and now he’s stepping into the ring with one of the most formidable knockout artists in the heavyweight division.”

Despite his reservations, Rogan admitted that he is intrigued by the spectacle and plans to watch the fight. He acknowledged the excitement of seeing Paul take on “one of the scariest heavyweights alive,” underscoring the unpredictable nature of this high-profile bout.

The iconic podcaster and UFC commentator went on to admit that he is ‘definitely gonna watch’ Paul test himself against ‘one of the scariest f***ing heavyweights alive’ despite his astonishment.

Joshua, who has claimed 25 of his 28 victories by knockout, first became world heavyweight champion in 2016 before losing his unified titles to Andy Ruiz in a shock knockout defeat three years later.

He immediately regained them after outclassing Ruiz on points in the subsequent rematch, before suffering consecutive losses to pound-for-pound master Oleksandr Usyk in September 2021 and August 2022.

Despite being condemned to his fourth defeat last year against by compatriot Daniel Dubois, who knocked him out inside five rounds, the British powerhouse remains one of the most intimidating heavyweights in world boxing.

Paul, meanwhile, was beaten by Tyson Fury’s novice younger brother Tommy in arguably his biggest test to date back in February 2023. He has won all 12 of his other contests against inferior opposition, including a 58-year-old Mike Tyson.

‘He’s gonna be terrifying, and he’s gonna have a lot to prove,’ Rogan added about AJ. ‘He’s gonna be very angry that Jake Paul wants to fight him, very upset that this YouTuber who’s fought Tommy Fury, who’s a legit boxer, and a couple of other guys who are legit boxers [wants to fight him].’

‘That right hand, if it hits you, you are f***ed,’ he warned Paul. ‘This is a giant Olympic gold medallist heavyweight. I mean, Anthony Joshua is f***ing terrifying. He’s got that one punch nuclear power, one punch, and he’s fast.’

Rogan went on to describe Joshua as a ‘specialist at putting knuckles through your f***ing brain.’

‘And that’s what he’s gonna try to do to Jake Paul,’ he concluded.

Joshua is contractually forbidden from weighing in at any more than 245lbs for his fight with Paul next month. It will be the lightest he has been since his rematch with Usyk (244.5lbs).

Regardless, the Olympic gold medalist expects to carry out a demolition job in Miami.

‘I’m going to break his face and break his body up. I’m here to prove I’m the better fighter,’ Joshua said at last week’s press conference.

‘I’ll stomp all over him. That’s a fighter’s mentality. I’m going to really want to hurt him. That’s what I want to do.’

Paul, who is seemingly unfazed by the mountainous task ahead of him, responded: ‘This is going to be fun. I want him to cut me up. I want him to break my face.’
