Lionel Messi had a proud father moment as he watched his sons, Thiago and Ciro, celebrate major wins with Inter Miami’s academy teams during the prestigious 2025 Dreams Cup in South Florida.

The legendary Argentine forward attended the youth tournament – held over Memorial Day weekend – which brings together some of the top emerging talents from across the United States and around the world.

Messi, accompanied by his wife Antonela Roccuzzo, looked on proudly as Thiago, 12, and Ciro, 7, lifted trophies with their respective teams.

Photos circulating online captured the eight-time Ballon d’Or winner visibly thrilled, as his sons continue to take early steps on a path that mirrors his iconic football legacy.

The boys themselves were, understandably, thrilled too.

In a joyful Instagram reel posted by Inter Miami’s academy, Thiago is seen jumping up and down with his Under-13 teammates, chanting: “Campeones, Campeones, Ole, Ole, Ole!” Meanwhile, Ciro shared in similar excitement, proudly lifting his trophy with a teammate and flashing a huge smile.

This isn’t the first time Messi’s children have tasted success on the pitch. Back in February 2025, Thiago, Ciro, and their middle brother Mateo, 9, all won trophies during the Weston Cup, another major youth tournament held in Florida.

Clearly, greatness runs in the Messi family.
