Qarabag vs Chelsea - Champions League: Live score and updates with Blues LOSING to minnows after two quick goals

“I would walk 500 miles and I would walk 500 more.” Those iconic lyrics by The Proclaimers perfectly encapsulate the journey Chelsea is embarking on tonight as they travel to Azerbaijan.

As I prepare to cover this UEFA Champions League match, the catchy tune of “I’m Gonna Be (500 Miles)” plays in the background, adding a bit of musical flair to the anticipation.

In this case, Chelsea isn’t just covering 500 miles; they’re on a massive 5,000-mile expedition to face Qarabag in Baku. It’s quite the odyssey for the team, but after last season’s rigors in the Conference League, such long-distance trips have become somewhat routine.

Many might assume that this match will be a straightforward victory for Chelsea. However, as we know in football, nothing is ever guaranteed. Let’s see how the Blues fare on this extensive journey.

I bet you are all thinking: ‘This is going to be a walk in the park for Chelsea’ or something along those lines at least.

But I wouldn’t be too sure, Qarabag have been a surprise package in the Champions League this season and are actually on the same points as Enzo Maresca’s side. This could be tastier than you expect.

Anyway, I, for one, am excited. Let’s get this show on the road!
