Liverpool are the ‘best-positioned’ club to sign Borussia Dortmund wonder kid Youssoufa Moukoko ahead of the likes of Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain.
The 17-year-old striker has been breaking record after record since emerging in Germany, and is now hot property with his contract situation up in the air.

The Bundesliga’s youngest ever player and youngest ever scorer at 16, Moukoko has gone from a prospect to regular starter this season, attracting interest from the world’s top sides.
A cancer diagnosis for summer signing Sebastein Haller and a lack of form from Anthony Modeste has seen the German U21 manage four goals in 16 games, and only Jude Bellingham has more.

However, his contract is set to expire in 2023, and a family dispute is holding up any potential extension with his parents in charge of negotiations until he turns 18.
That could see other teams pounce, with Sport.es in Spain reporting Liverpool are heading a queue of huge teams.
Both LaLiga giants Madrid and Barcelona are interested in the new superstar the outlet claims, but the Reds head the charge with Jurgen Klopp massively impressed by the youngster.
Dortmund are renowned for their production of young talent, with Erling Haaland recently leaving for Manchester City before lighting up the Premier League.

England international Bellingham appears to be next on the list with Liverpool also in the hunt for the midfielder, but he could end up fetching well over £100million according to some valuations.
That could make Moukoko a far cheaper purchase from Dortmund, although Sport claim he ‘has half of Europe after him’.
