Liverpool have turned down a permanent offer for Fabio Carvalho but the club are open to loan deals to allow the youngster to secure game time next season.
The Reds signed Carvalho for a £7.7million fee last summer after he played a starring role for Fulham as the Cottagers won the Championship.
Carvalho featured in 10 of Liverpool’s opening 11 Premier League matches of the campaign.
The 20-year-old has since found game time hard to come by, with the forward ending the season with 22 appearances and just seven starts in all competitions.
Liverpool knocked back an offer for permanent sale last month and have no interest in selling Carvalho.

Potential loan moves are being assessed by Liverpool as they weigh up Carvalho’s next move.

Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp had expressed sympathy over Carvalho’s lack of minutes, with the German praising the 20-year-old for his ‘exceptional’ performances in training.
‘I think there is a maybe a possibility Fabio goes on loan,’ Klopp said last week.
‘But the thing is this was not Fabio’s best year in his career, clearly, but it might have been his most important.
‘No player has impressed me more than Fabio, it is the truth.Â
‘This talented boy came here with big dreams and big expectations and it didn’t work out – it was okay in the beginning but it didn’t work out in the end.
‘But his work ethic will give him a fantastic career because he trained with getting nothing.’
Carvalho was an unused substitute as Liverpool drew 4-4 with Southampton on the final day of the Premier League season.
