Mpumalanga Rhinos will play Northern Cape in Division 2 from November 3 at White River Country Club, Mpumalanga. Players from both teams will want to win the match and get off to a solid start in the tournament. It is going to be a good opportunity for the players to showcase their skills.
This is the second edition in the post-franchise era. The league setup will have two divisions. Domestic cricket changes announced the end of the six-franchise team arrangement and a return to the more traditional provincial-based system in 2020. The 4-Day Series presently has 15 teams divided into two divisions.
During the competition, which will take place in 16 different stadiums, each team will meet the other at least twice. Willowmoore Park, Benoni, Kingsmead Durban, SuperSport Park Centurion, Buffalo Park East London, Newlands Cape Town, and The Wanderers Stadium Johannesburg are just a few of the South African venues that will stage the matches.
