New Balance has lifted the curtain on the Tekela v5, the fifth generation of its signature control silo.

Engineered for playmakers who read the game a step ahead, the boot focuses on touch, traction, and comfort in one streamlined package.

A one‑piece TouchTech microfiber upper carries shallow debossed channels and printed grip zones, giving an almost glove‑like feel on the ball. Up top, a Hypoknit stretch collar wraps the ankle for seamless lockdown, eliminating layers that can dull first contact.

Underfoot, a nylon plate mixes conical studs with angled TPU rims at the forefoot, supplying quick release in every direction – ideal for tight turns and instant acceleration.

The launch colourway is impossible to ignore: solar‑yellow base for visibility, black overlays framing the tech zones, and red flashes for a hit of aggression. It’s all designed to echo Tekela’s mantra: see the unseen, control the moment.

Expect to spot the Tekela v5 on the feet of Endrick, Jordan Huitema, Harvey Elliott, and Tim Weah in upcoming fixtures, offering a real‑time demo of the boot’s credentials.

Fans can grab the first‑edition Tekela v5 starting June 24, 2025 exclusively at on New Balance’s official website. Wider retail release follows on July 24, with more colourways slated to roll out later in the season.

Lightweight build, locked‑in collar, and touch‑focused tech make the Tekela v5 a genuine upgrade – perfect for players who run the game with vision and precision.
