With Super Bowl LX just days away, the buzz surrounding the event is palpable, though not everyone is thrilled with the merchandise selection available to fans.

This Sunday night, the New England Patriots will face off against the Seattle Seahawks at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California, competing for the esteemed football championship.

As anticipation builds during Super Bowl week, fans are flocking to Santa Clara to gear up for the big game and snag the newest merchandise supporting their teams.

One fan took to social media to display the current New England Patriots merchandise selection, which many have criticized as “disgraceful.”

The collection, featuring an assortment of hats, hoodies, jerseys, and t-shirts in the Patriots’ colors, left others disappointed with the lack of variety and creativity in the designs.

Notably, some fans took issue with the fact that the official jersey which the Patriots will wear on Sunday night did not seem to be on offer in the store.

Instead, according to the fan’s viral post, only a black version of the kit, which had Drake Maye’s name on the back, was available in-store.

The official jersey also is not available on the NFL’s online shop. However, it is on sale – without the ‘USA 250’ patch – on the team’s official merchandise site for $180.

It didn’t take long for fans to catch wind of the lack of apparel on offer and vent their frustrations on social media.

Taking to X, one fan wrote: ‘That is all 100% garbage. @Fanatics has RUINED all aspects of sports merchandise, but especially the clothing’.

‘Disgraceful tbh. We really need the consumer to stand up and refuse to purchase any of this garbage,’ another wrote on the platform.

‘This is, without exaggeration, quite possibly the worst hat ever created,’ one fan said, attaching a picture of a black ‘Super Bowl LX’ cap that was on sale.

‘Is there no white jersey with the Super Bowl patch like the pats will actually wear?? [laughing emojis],’ another user wrote.

Similarly, another fan said: ‘It also looks to be expensive and of very poor quality. Especially the jerseys’.

‘This is so bad. Jerseys look horrible and not even what the team is going to wear,’ another wrote.

Meanwhile, one fan claimed: ‘I’ve been to 3 lids, 2 fanatics, and the stadium, not a single jersey for sale. Authentic or replica. Just cheap off color ones with no stripes.’

Though the official jersey which the Patriots will wear on Sunday night is not currently available, that didn’t stop it from dividing opinion upon it’s release last week.

The Patriots will wear an all-white uniform at Levi’s Stadium, fitted along with ‘Super Bowl LX’ and ‘USA 250’ patches on the front.

Despite the fact that the white uniform serves as good omen – with 16 of the last 20 Lombardi Trophy winners wearing white – Patriots fans are split over the design.
